Brig. Gen. E. John Teichert, 412th Test Wing commander, and Command Chief Master Sgt. Roosevelt Jones, 412th Test Wing command chief, had breakfast with local veterans during a Coffee4Vets gathering at Crazy Otto’s Diner in Lancaster, California, Nov. 6.

Coffee4Vets is a non-profit veterans support group founded in 2011. The group meets every Tuesday for breakfast and coffee at Crazy Otto’s. This week’s gathering included the 412th TW command team as well as special guests U.S. Representative Steve Knight and children from Lancaster Baptist School. The children sang a medley of songs as a way to thank the veterans for their service in commemoration of Veterans Day.

Local government representatives also attend and provide advice and support for veterans who may require their assistance. Crazy Otto’s owner Jin Hur and Coffee4Vets president Juan Blanco offer their invitation to local veterans as well active duty servicemembers to take part in the camaraderie and the coffee.
