DFAC wins Hennessy

The Joshua Tree Dining Facility was awarded the John Hennessy Award Jan. 8. In the kitchen, a pot of chili-mac is being prepared as one of the lunch entrees of the day. The Hoover Commission created the Hennessy Award as a way for government food service and hospitality workers to compete for the best facilities and teams. The Air Force was the first of the Armed Forces to implement the program in 1953. (U.S. Air Force photo by Rebecca Amber)
