DAVID K. ROBERTSON

Mr. David K. Robertson, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Executive Director, Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards Air Force Base, California. He serves as principal deputy to the AFTC Commander on all matters under the cognizance of the Commander. He has extensive authority for broad management, policy development, decision-making and effective program execution of the AFTC's developmental test and evaluation mission. His role as an Executive Director involves long and short-range planning, policy development, the determination of program and center goals, including those involving scientific and technical matters, and the overall management of the AFTC enterprise.

Mr. Robertson began his civil service career in 1986 and has accumulated an extensive test and evaluation, and science and engineering experience base. He also completed a career broadening assignment in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition Integration, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition in Washington, D.C. Mr. Robertson was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in June 2010 and has executive management experience in both the operational and developmental test and evaluation mission areas.
