Brig. Gen. "Dragon" Teichert, a 1994 MIT alum, addressed the Los Angeles High Table MIT/Yale/Princeton alumni group in El Segundo, CA. He discussed Edward's role at "The Center of the Aerospace Testing Universe." He also responded to questions about the future roadmap of American aviation, the methodology of world-class risk management, the application of the NDS, and the importance of questioning underlying assumptions as a leader and a tester.

Yesterday there was only one #F35 and we thought that wasn't enough. So we brought in two for tonight! These 2 F35s out of #EAFB buzzed the Antelope Valley Fair. If you haven't made your travel plans yet, you've got plenty of time as there will be a lot more of this come 2020 at the Aerospace Valley Air Show and Los Angeles County Air Show! KABC is reporting that a deputy was shot in the shoulder at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station. Officials said that the deputy suffered a through and through wound to the shoulder and that he is expected to be okay.
Thirty years ago, on July 17, 1989, an oddly-shaped and dark-colored new plane took to the sky for the first time at the legendary #Plant42 in Palmdale, California. That plane, the #B2 Spirit #stealth #bomber, went on to join the U.S. Air Force’s fleet and has been a staple of the nation’s global air power dominance ever since. The B-2’s manufacturer, Northrop Grumman Corporation, hosted an event to mark the B-2’s 30th anniversary of its first flight at an event at Plant 42, Aug. 20. Hundreds of employees, local leaders and military guests were on hand on the event, which included Maj. Gen. James Dawkins, 8th Air Force and Joint-Global Strike Operations commander. https://go.usa.gov/xV4jv #ForTheWarFighter #StealthBomber #B2 (U.S. Air Force Photos By Giancarlo Casem)
