    The 412th Test Wing resumed flight operations, April 1, following a brief adjustment to modify procedures after the DoD-wide Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Charlie announcement last week.

  • Edwards Air Force Base Resumes Normal Operations After Lockdown

    At approximately 08:30 a.m., Edwards security forces initiated a base lockdown at both Edwards AFB and Operating Location Plant 42 in Palmdale, California. The lockdown ended at approximately 10:10 a.m. There were no injuries, and the base has resumed normal operations.

  • Edwards Air Force Base Security Forces Limit Access Through South Gate

    Be advised, beginning March 30, 2020, South Gate will temporarily resume limited operations due to construction-related mission requirements, under the following parameters: Monday thru Friday, 0630-1430 only. Full-time closure due to Health Protection Condition considerations will resume April 13.
