Chief Master Sergeant Jermaine A. King is the Senior Enlisted Advisor For the 412th Mission Support Group, Edwards Air Force Base, California. He advises the Mission Support Group Commander on enlisted matters and serves as a mentor responsible for synchronizing the efforts of over 1,700 military, civilian, and contracted personnel to support 19,500 personnel assigned to the 412th Test Wing, Air Force Test Center, Air Force Test Pilot School, Plant 42, and the NASA Armstrong Research Center residing on the second largest base in the Air Force. He provides counsel for 54 mission partners, and provides communication, logistics, security, and force support requirements to advance 56 test and evaluation programs to advance 14 Department of Defense aircraft platforms valued at $19.1 billion dollars.
Chief King has served in various leadership positions in Security Forces, Force Support, and Developmental Special Duty. This includes Developmental Advisor and Senior Executive Assistant to Joint Base San Antonio Command Senior Enlisted Leader. Chief King’s service includes assignments in Alaska, Illinois, California, and Texas, with overseas assignments in Japan and Greenland. He has deployed in support of Operations NEW DAWN, INHERENT RESOLVE, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM. Prior too assuming his current position, he served as the 412th Security Forces Squadron’s Senior Enlisted Leader for Edwards Air Force Base, California.
As a Combat Arms Instructor, he has trained over 60,000 Airmen entering military service, and over 107,000 additional military personnel deploying for support missions. As a certified Close Precision Engagement Team Member (AF Sniper), he had deployed to five undisclosed locations in support of Department of Defense operations. Moreover, he has deployed NCOIC, Combat Arms to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, Africa in 2003, Balad Air Base, Iraq in 2004, and Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, overseeing over 21 million dollars in munitions, arms, and equipment. In 2015, he deployed to Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait as a flight chief, overseeing day security operations for the busiest aerial port in the Air
