Lieutenant Colonel Christian Vigo

Lt. Col. Christian B. Vigo is the Commander of the 412th Force Support Squadron, Edwards Air Force Base, California. 412 FSS is responsible for providing sustainment, military and civilian personnel, manpower, educational development, family, deployment, and morale-and-welfare functions to support mission execution of the 412th Test Wing. 412 FSS serves more than 10,000 military, civilian, dependents and retirees, from “cradle to grave,” while sustaining mission capabilities.

Vigo earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at San Diego State University, California and received his commission through Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 075 in 2010. He completed his Master of Arts degrees in Human Resource Development and Management and Leadership at Webster University in 2017.

Prior to assuming his current position, Vigo served as the Section Commander for Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He exercised G-Series authority for the Air Force’s second largest MAJCOM headquarters, responsible for over 1,600 personnel across sixteen Directorates and special staff. Additionally, he served as the chief advisor to AMC senior leadership on morale, health and quality of life issues impacting headquarters personnel and operations.
