Solar Farm

Contract construction workers attach a solar panel to a stand at the Lancaster Boulevard solar farm near Wolfe Avenue. Three solar farms are being constructed around base including one at the Air Force Research Laboratory Detachment 7. Each of the solar farms is expected to provide one megawatt of electricity to the base, and officials hope the extra supplement of power will save the base money.
