Desert High students bring history back to life for second year
Graphically enhanced photo of Desert Junior-Senior High School students re-enacting a "Hooverville," which was a common term for homeless encampments throughout the Great Depression, during a "Night at the Museum" event hosted by the students and faculty of Desert Junior-Senior High School May 21, 2014. The second annual event was an end-of-year, school-wide project where students transformed the halls of the high school into static displays, living statues and interactive history exhibits.
