Job Title: EOD Section Chief

Congratulations to Master Sgt. Brian Hernandez, the 412th Test Wing’s Warrior of the Week. Hernandez is a section chief with Edwards EOD, a unit that is constantly busy with disposing old unexploded ordnance both in and around Edwards AFB. Unit members also deploy overseas and provide EOD support around the nation. Hernandez enlisted in 2001 as a communications Airmen and became an EOD member in 2009. He has deployed several times overseas in support of operations. Edwards AFB is his eighth base to be stationed.

Hernandez hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico. His current goals are to complete his bachelor's degree, be promoted to senior master sergeant and some day run his own EOD flight.
