    The Air Force Research Laboratory, or AFRL, held a kickoff meeting for the new International Research Innovation in Nanotechnology, or RISING, Center at Rice University in Houston, Texas, May 9.

  • AFMC to expand AcqDemo workforce

    The Air Force Materiel Command is expanding its Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project, with a target date for converting all eligible General Schedule (GS) employees by June 2025. Approximately 26,000 AFMC positions will convert.

  • Hundreds turnout for annual Air Force Assistance Fund Runway 5K

    The 3rd Annual Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) Runway 5k was held at Tinker Air Force Base June 7, 2024. 100% of proceeds went directly to the Air Force Assistance Fund, supporting Department of the Air Force charities that help retirees, spouses, widows, and all Airmen in need.
