The Defense Logistics Agency recently awarded a $42 million energy savings performance contract, to be executed and maintained by Energy Systems Group, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This represents the Air Force’s first such awarded contract of 2018.

Hill, Robins to provide F-35 software sustainment

The Air Force Sustainment Center is making plans to establish organic software sustainment capability for the F-35A Lightning II. Vice Adm. Mat Winter, director of the Joint Strike Fighter program, requested Naval Air Systems Command and Air Force Materiel Command develop depot activation plans for software sustainment on their respective variants of the F-35.
