Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?
No. We have walk-in hours from 0730-1630 everyday with the exception of Wednesdays training day when the clinic opens at 1000. No appointment is necessary.

What days do you do registrations?
All registrations with the exception of newborns and NATO members will be registered on Tuesdays only. Sponsors must come into the clinic to register themselves and all dependents.  To ensure a smooth registration please call TRICARE West prior to your arrival, dependents will need to call TRIWEST for themselves.

Can I pick up a hardcopy of my referral?
No. All authorizations are provided on www.tricare.mil/west. Imaging for dependents/retirees will be done through scripts available for pickup at the front desk.

What do I do if I receive a bill in the mail?
Your first step is to call the facility that billed you and confirm you provided the correct DoD Benefits Number. If that doesn’t resolve your billing issue you should then contact the regional contractor TriWest at 1-888-874-9378. If the billing issue is still not resolved, you may report to the TOPA window and ask to speak with the Beneficiary Counseling & Assistance Coordinator, or you can reach out at 661-275-2661.
