Meink emphasizes technological excellence, acquisition transformation during Ohio immersion

Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink, along with William Bailey, Performing the Duties of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and logistics, and Col. Timothy Spaulding, the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Bombers Directorate held an acquisition transformation focused Town Hall event on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, April 3, 2026. Meink was visiting for a two-day immersion tour where he learned about the many important missions that occur throughout the installation. He also saw first-hand how the various Air Force Materiel Command organizations are getting after technological innovations and are supporting the Department of the Air Force’s (DAF) acquisition transformation efforts.
