X-62 VISTA begins upgrade program, expanding boundaries in flight testing of autonomy and artificial intelligence

The landmark X-62 VISTA artificial intelligence and autonomy testbed is receiving a variety of mission system upgrades thanks to investments by the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). The upgrades will feature enhancements that integrates advanced radar and sensors for advance testing. The aircraft will remain a part of the Air Force Test Pilot School curriculum as it continues to collaborate across government and industry on test projects. (Air Force photo by Lindsey Iniguez)
