E3 Sentry plays critical role in Red Flag, Bamboo Eagle exercises
Crew members with the 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron board an E3 Sentry AWACS and prepare to participate in the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center’s first iteration of Bamboo Eagle at Nellis Air Force Base Feb. 1, 2024. The exercise is the first of its kind which conducts warfighter-centric live and virtual operational test and evaluation, tactics development and advanced training to optimize Air Force capabilities and prepare Airmen for joint, all-domain combat operations.
