Lt. Col. (retired) Duddy in cockpit of WWII C-47

Lt. Col. (retired) Brian Duddy sits in the cockpit of the WWII C-47 flown by Capt. Bob Uhrig, the topic of his book “Invasion Stripes: The Wartime Diary of Capt. Robert Uhrig, USAAF and the Dawn of American Military Airlift.” The aircraft is now in the collection of the Champaign Aviation Museum in Urbana, Ohio. Duddy will host a presentation there on the aircraft and his book on Jan, 25 at 6 p.m.
