AFFF SUNDOWN

AFFF tanks and systems like the one pictured here from a hangar fire suppression system, the Air Force is scheduled to lockout/tagout by early 2023. This is in accordance with a 2020 National Defense Authorization Act provision requiring DoD to phase out AFFF at all military installations by Oct. 1, 2024.
