Airman makes debut as Winter Olympian, has sights set for 2026
Airman 1st Class Kelly Curtis became the first Black athlete to compete for Team USA in skeleton at the Winter Olympics this year. Seen here during one of her runs racing down the icy track at around 80 mph in this year’s competition amongst a field of 25 other athletes competing. Though she finished 21 out of 25, she was the only member of the US Air Force to compete in Beijing. (Courtesy Photo)
