AEDC engineers assist with SBIR effort researching noise reduction of aircraft engines
Dr. David Mayo, right, a mechanical engineer with the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division; Dr. Tom Jenkins, center, president of MetroLaser, Inc.; and Regis Morgan, senior engineer with MetroLaser, monitor data during a test of the company's setup to non-invasively measure the unsteady, 3D velocity field of a jet plume from a stationary aircraft engine, Nov. 18, 2021, at the Propulsion Research Facility operated by Arnold Engineering Development Complex on the campus of the University of Tennessee Space Institute in Tullahoma, Tenn.
