Virtual reality capability used during sensor validation in AEDC test cell

Cameras and registration symbols were placed around a General Electric F404 engine installation in Sea Level Test Cell 1 during sensor testing for a trial of the Virtual Test Cell Presence System, June 15, 2021, at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn. The cameras provide test personnel high-resolution views of test hardware and are compiled by the system for viewing with a virtual reality headset. The registration symbols enable the system to piece together the various angles. (U.S. Air Force photo by Jill Pickett)
