AEDC and NAVAIR work together to establish Remote Data Room

A Pratt & Whitney F135 engine for the F-35 Lighting II Joint Strike Fighter undergoes testing in the AEDC Sea Level 3 engine test cell. Using a work station, known as the Remote Data Room, in the Propulsion Systems Evaluation Facility (PSEF) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, the PSEF test team is able to successfully monitor live engine testing, such as this, for the F135 occurring at Arnold Air Force Base.
