Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape personnel field test Somewear Lab’s Hotspot Aug. 5, 2019, in a remote area near Travis Air Force Base, Calif. Paired with a combat-configured smartphone, the developmental device supports digital maps for navigation, modern digital satellite messaging and data transmission and comprehensive blue-force tracking for the tactical operations center or any command.
