Cal City VFW post refreshes flag at flying wing crash site

Two Northrop YB-49s flying wing bombers were produced for flight testing with the second aircraft making its first flight Jan. 13, 1948. Testing continued with both aircraft until the second YB-49 crashed north of Muroc Army Air Field June 5, 1948, killing all five crew members including Capt. Glen Edwards. (U.S. Air Force photo)
