One for Capt. Roland
Cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy and special tactics Airmen dedicated a memorial to Capt. Matthew Roland, 27, March 30, 2016, at the Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was killed at a vehicle checkpoint near Camp Antonik, Afghanistan, Aug. 26, 2015. Roland, who graduated from the Academy in 2010, was a special tactics officer with the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Fla.
