Lt. Col. Eric Bippert, 418th Flight Test Squadron commander, shows Congressman Kevin McCarthy the cockpit of a C-17 Globemaster III. McCarthy visited Edwards AFB Aug. 5 and received mission updates on 412th Test Wing programs such as F-35 and KC-46. He also visited Ridley Mission Control. McCarthy serves California’s 23rd district and is currently the majority leader in the U.S. House of Representatives.
