Brig. Gen. Carl Schaefer, 412th Test Wing commander, received his new rank during a promotion ceremony March 30 at Club Muroc. His jacket epaulettes were pinned on by his wife Pauline (left) and his mother Arlene (far right). His shirt epaulettes were pinned on by his son Colin and daughter Elise.
