Nicole Carter, an Independent Living Center of Southern California case manager, is assisted by Tim Rosso, Mobility Works certified mobility consultant, in trying out the modified 2012 Chevy Silverado truck. The truck has a lift that will put a person sitting in a wheel chair directly into the driver's side. For Carter, sitting behind the wheel in her wheelchair was a “liberating” experience.
