Drought

Desert landscaping, known as Xeriscaping, has been used since the early 2000s to reduce water consumption on base. The new Xeriscaping along Fitzgerald Blvd. is the result of a Xeriscaping plan that Brig. Gen. Michael Brewer, 412th Test Wing commander, signed into effect Nov. 2013.
