In the 'Baron' desert

Travis Sutphen, Edwards Aero Club certified flight instructor, checks the oil level of the Aero Club’s newest acquisition, a T-42A Baron, June 17. The T-42A was picked up from Albuquerque, N.M., on June 13. The T-42A is a military version of the Baron 95-B55 for use by the United States Army as an instrument training aircraft and will now be used at the Edwards Aero Club as a twin-engine trainer.
