Honorary commanders take on ‘SERE-ious’ training

Mike Burroughs (front), Broken Bit Steakhouse general manager and 412th Force Support Squadron honorary commander, was one of three honorary commanders that participated July 2 in a land and water survival training class taught by Edwards Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape instructors at the Oasis Aquatic Center. The primary objective of the Honorary Commanders Program is to familiarize community leaders with Edwards' operations by pairing them with unit commanders and directors at both social and official functions. This program is an avenue for community partner leaders to learn about the Air Force mission, personnel, programs and operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Jet Fabara)
