Edwards ‘towers’ over competition, wins five airfield operations awards

Larry Ledford, 412th Operations Support Squadron airfield manager, received the Air Force Materiel Command Airfield Management Civilian Supervisor of the Year award. Mr. Ledford led 14 military and civilian personnel in maintaining Edwards’ lakebed and airfield complex. He ensured the airfield environment is 100-percent compliant.
