Digging in

Edwards' Airmen exercise in more than one way by filling sandbags at Camp Corum on May 17, 2006. Sandbags are used to fortify defensive fighting positions. The Airmen were part of a team sent to the camp to prepare it for "deployed operations" during Phase II of an operational readiness exercise, which officially kicked off at 6 p.m. the same day.
