C-17 performs second test of Falcon Small Launch Vehicle

A Falcon Small Launch Vehicle is released from a C-17 Globemaster III here June 14, 2006. The Falcon SLV project, a joint venture between the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and the Air Force, is designed to develop a new method for putting satellites into low-earth orbit.
