A truck carries the cab of the old Air Force Flight Test Center control tower down Rosamond Boulevard on June 21. The cab will be the centerpiece of the Century Circle display, which is outside the West Gate. The AFFTC museum has been restoring the 18-foot high, 28-foot wide cab since November 1988 when the old tower was demolished following construction of the existing tower. Six Century Series aircraft, the F-100, F-101, F-102, F-104, F-105 and F-106, will join the tower on the display site. (Photo by Doug Nelson)
