EM keeps eye on Edwards resources during CITS project
Walter Johnson Jr., a base contractor, bores under a road on South Base for the installation of fiber cables. The 95th Communications Group and the 95th Air Base Wing Environmental Management office began working together to install the Combat Information Transfer System here. Part of installing the system requires digging in the ground, which sometimes runs near or through natural resources and archeological items that could be impacted. (Photo by Dawn Waldman)
