EAFB Installation Run

Around 7 a.m. May 3, Edwards flightline was the site of 2010’s second quarter Team Edwards Installation Formation Run. Approximately 2,000 Airmen, Marines, Sailors and civilians mustered at Hangar 1600's wash rack. The formation ran two-miles out and back along taxiway E. The AFFTC holds the run every quarter as part of the Air Force Wellness Program. Monday was selected as the day for the run, as it was a base-wide training day, and was done to increase morale and esprit ‘de corps among Team Edwards. Above, Maj. Gen. David Eichhorn, Air Force Flight Test Center commander, and staff, pass by a C-17 Globemaster III assigned to the 418th Flight Test Squadron as they finish the run in less than 21 minutes. The next Team Edwards Installation Formation Run is scheduled around August. (Air Force photograph by Stephen K. Robinson)
