Making all participants' simulated injuries look as real as possible is accomplished through use of moulage. Make-up artists having been useing moulage for several decades to make simulated injuries look more real on camera. The military uses moulage to train personnel, in a simulated environment, for real-world situations. Here, moulage simulates an eyeball ejection. (Air Force photo by Stephen K. Robinson)
