Branch Elementary School Science Fair
Air Force Research Laboratory was one of the presenters at this year's Branch Elementary School Science Fair with a demonstration on rocket propulsion. Useing an air pump, two water hoses with preassure nossles on the end of each and two two-liter soda bottles, one empty and the other half-full of water and launched when the preassure vavles were released. The demonstration illustrated that propulsion is needed to launch objects, and that lighter does not always mean higher travel.
