Euro Hawk June 29
The Euro Hawk flies high above Edwards Air Force Base June 29. The unmanned aircraft system, built by Northrop Grumman and European Aeronautic Defence and Space, completed its first flight after taking off from Northrop's Palmdale, Calif., manufacturing facility and then landing at Edwards. The Euro Hawk has a wingspan larger than a commercial airliner and can fly for more than 30 hours at high altitudes. (Air Force photo by Bobbi Zapka)
