Domestic violence awareness month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. During the month of October, the Warfighter and Family Services Center members will host "Faces of Domestic Violence" conference at the Stewart Theater at Bolling Oct. 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants will gain an understanding of the unique dynamics of victims and perpetrators of domestic violence; learn about cyber stalking, pet abuse, compassion fatigue and the impact of violence on children.
