Edwards test team extends KC-135 capabilities

This KC-10 was just one of the many airframes that were used to test the KC-135 Block 45 systems upgrades in order to mitigate capability gaps and improve overall KC-135 shortcomings in reliability, maintainability and supportability. The 418th Flight Test Squadron was just one of 11 units that were involved in the testing that ended April 2013. (Courtesy photo)
