A Royal Canadian Air Force CH-147F Chinook is suspended above ground by cables in the Benefield Anechoic Facility Sept. 25. The BAF, operated by the 772nd Test Squadron, is the largest anechoic chamber in the world and can fit any aircraft inside. It provides a "free space" so electronic warfare tests can be conducted without radio frequency interference from the outside world. Daniel Ciolkosz works as a radar engineer at the 416th Flight Test Squadron testing legacy and new radar systems for the F-15 and F-16. He writes test plans and flight cards, executes the test, then analyzes the data.
