A student and flight instructor prepare for a glider flight as part of real-life math lesson outside of Edwards Air Force Base on April 16, 2025. The 412th Test Wing's STEM program hosted students from Cabrillo High School in Long Beach to experience the unique opportunity of flying in a glider aircraft. The students worked with flight test professionals to calculate flight plans and extract post-flight data as part of an integrated math lesson.
