418th FLTS completes 10-year support of NASA Orion parachute tests
A C-17 Globemaster III and a mock Orion spacecraft fly high over Yuma, Arizona, Sept. 12, 2018. The Orion test capsule was pulled out from the aircraft's cargo bay to perform a test of the spacecraft's parachute system. This final test qualified the parachute system for flights with astronauts, checking off an important milestone on the path to send humans on missions to the moon and beyond. (U.S. Army photo)
