EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The 412th Test Wing and NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center are sponsoring this year’s Women’s Equality Day Luncheon Aug. 25 at Club Muroc. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Dr. Stephanie Smith, 412th TW historian. The menu consists of herb crusted stuffed chicken, garlic rosemary roasted potatoes and almandine green beans. Price is $15 per person. Women's Equality Day commemorates Aug. 26, 1920 when women’s voting rights officially became part of the U.S. Constitution. This day marks a turning point in the history of the struggle for equal treatment of women and women's rights. Call Tech. Sgt.
