Beat the heat with Summer of Savings at Exchange restaurants Published July 12, 2013 By Conner Hammett Army & Air Force Exchange Service Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- As temperatures heat up this summer, the discounts inside direct operated Army and Air Force Exchange Service restaurants are getting cooler for Military Star Card holders. From July 5 to Sept. 21, every food or drink order made with a Military Star Card will be discounted by 20 percent - a full 79 days of savings. "With all of the other great discounts and contests available to Exchange customers, this is truly shaping up to be a summer of savings," said the Exchange's Senior Enlisted Advisor Chief Master Sgt. Tony Pearson. "The Military Star Card already provides its members with many year-round discounts, so promotions like these are just another added perk and 'thank you' for shoppers' service and sacrifice." Military Star Card users are also entitled to a year-round five-cent discount on Express fuel purchases. For information on the Military Star Card, visit www.shopmyexchange.com.
