Roger Vincent (left), Air Force Research Laboratory vice commander, passes the AFRL Detachment 7 guideon to Lt. Col. Patrick Davis, charging him with command during a ceremony July 22 in the Rocket Science Center. Davis assumed command from Col. Michael Platt, who retired from active duty that same day. Davis was previously assigned as the chief of the Systems Engineering Office at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in Ft. Belvoir, Va.
