Corvias Military Living has teamed with Mainscape Inc. to provide residents with high-quality commercial lawn care service, giving on-base families more time to spend doing what they enjoy. The service includes mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and flowerbed maintenance.

Mainscape, Inc. will continue adhering to the following previously released schedule, which is also available on the Corvias website at http://airforce.corviasmilitaryliving.com/edwards/calendar:

Monday: Mesquite Meadows, Tamarisk Plains and Park Areas
Tuesday: Joshua Acres
Wednesday: Mountain View
Thursday: Juniper Ridge, Acacia Hills, and Palo Verde
Friday: Miscellaneous and Detail Day

Homes which have not received flowerbed maintenance since the transition to privatized housing can expect the initial service to begin on a Friday over the course of the next five weeks. After your home has received the initial flowerbed maintenance, that service will continue to be provided each week during your regularly scheduled lawn care.

A friendly reminder to residents is that crews will not provide service to unprepared lawns. Please remember to prepare your yard as follows on cutting day:
  • Remove toys, decorative items, landscape lighting, trash, patio furniture, grills, and trampolines from all grassy areas
  • Remove pet waste from the yard and keep pets indoors.
  • If you have a fence, please ensure the gate is unlocked to allow crews to access your yard. This includes gates secured with rope, twine and karabiners. After lawn mowing isĀ  complete, verify the fence is closed before allowing your pet to re-enter.
Residents are also reminded to leave pets indoors for up to one hour after lawn mowing, as lawn care technicians will follow-up with edging, trimming and blowing services. If pets are released into the fenced area within the hour timeframe, crews will be unable to provide the additional services.

Also included in the lawn care service is irrigation system maintenance. In response to the high volume of service requests, Mainscape, Inc. has dedicated team members to repair systems the week of September 16. Once service requests are resolved, technicians will continue to check each home's system during the regularly scheduled lawn service.
