AFMC vice visits high desert

Lt. Gen. Andrew E. Busch, Air Force Materiel Command vice commander (seated), is given a briefing at the Joint Strike Fighter Integrated Test Force by Col. Roderick Cregier, Edward AFB F-35 program director, Nov. 21.

Busch spent the day touring Edwards receiving program briefings from various test squadrons. The general also spoke at the Air Force Association Pacific Air & Space Symposium in Los Angeles on Nov. 22. Edwards AFB falls under AFMC, which employs some 80,000 people and manages $60 billion annually in research, development, test and evaluation, while providing the acquisition management services and logistics support required to develop, procure and sustain Air Force weapon systems.
